Children remain the responsibility of the parent/adult bringing them to school until they go into school.

All parents and carers are welcome onto the playground at the beginning of the school day.

School Meals & Refreshments

School Meals are available at £2.20 a day or children may bring packed lunches. The children in Reception who are under five receive free milk at morning break time. All the other children may bring a small bottle of milk or a carton of milk shake or fruit juice to drink at the same time.

As part of the National Fruit Scheme, children in Tawny Owls and Barn Owls classes receive a free piece of fruit every break time. Children in Snowy Owls and Eagle Owls classes may choose to bring a small piece of fruit to school to eat at break time.

School dinners must be ordered on a half-termly basis. Please ensure that dinner money for the week is sent into school on a Friday morning of the prior week in a clearly marked envelope. School dinners may be paid half termly or termly if preferred; please speak to the school secretary.

End of the Day

At the end of the school day, all parents are invited onto the playground to collect their children. However we do ask parents if they would refrain from allowing their pre-school children and toddlers from playing on the outside climbing frame/trim trail or run around on the playground or field when waiting for their children before the end of the school day. It disturbs and distracts the children and staff working in the mobile and any class or classes using the outside classroom or field during the last lesson.
